Rejoice in the Lord always, I will say it again Rejoice. Philippians 4:4
There is much to rejoice about in our house ... Mom finally gave in and let the boys have a puppy. There has been much hubb-a-balu surrounding the new pup. I believe the neighbors thought that maybe a new baby had come home from the hospital with all of the excitement pouring from the house. In fact one neighbor took note that there was a lot more excitement over the puppy than the last baby brought home. Never -the-less there is plenty to rejoice about...until...one of the boys had to get up in the middle of the night and take said puppy out to do his business. "Mom, I think you need to get book about how to raise puppies because it shouldn't be this much work." he bluntly stated.
Simply put "How can something this great be so much work?" Being a Christian can cause the same dilemma, "How can something this great be so much work?" Some days it is very hard to follow God's teachings, some days it is very hard to love in a Godly way, some days it is just hard to rejoice. But the Lord is there calling you to rejoice in His Love and not just one time but over and over.
Great Father Almighty, we Rejoice in YOUR way and we Rejoice in YOUR Holy Name. YOU alone are the Beginning and the End. Never let me live a moment without Rejoicing in YOUR Love and Your Greatness. Amen.
