"Where's Baby Jesus." I screamed as I frantically ripped through all
of the wrapping paper that had been tossed around the Christmas
tree. My precious hand carved nativity set was missing the Baby
"Everyone stop what you are doing and look for Baby Jesus!" I
command three kids and their father.
Transported with emotion over the loss of the figurine I slumped
into a chair wiping tears from my eyes.
"Oh where could Baby Jesus be?" I whined.
"I know where Baby Jesus is!" our five year old son burst out.
"There's no need to be sad Momma Jesus didn't leave He stayed
right here in my heart!"
It is very easy during the holidays to lose Jesus in all of the
wrappings. We need to examine our hearts and make sure that the
Holy Spirit is there. Jesus told us in John 14:18 "I will not leave you
comfort less. I will come to you."
